The scheme files in file:help/ correspond closely to the SuperCollider help files included in the standard distribution and can easily be used alongside them (the schelp source files can be found at github). Examples from the help files, tutorials and other sources are included in file:examples/

These are notes for a talk addressed to Schemers about rsc3, a scheme client to the SuperCollider (Sc3) synthesis server. This talk provides a brief history of computer music in order to place Sc3 in context and to define the problem domain, and then a description of and rationale for rsc3.
